Trained in England. I started making built-in furniture and doing fine woodworking in 2002 in York, England after training in traditional cabinetmaking and antique furniture restoration at York College.
Carpentry and cabinetmaking had always been a strong interest of mine, and I finally decided to pursue them after getting a Masters in Medieval Studies and deciding academia was not for me.
Move to Portland. After returning to the States in 2011, my wife and kids and I lived near my parents for a while in rural Texas, before we moved to Portland and settled here for good. I’m excited to be able to offer my cabinetmaking and carpentry services to the citizens of this fine city, as well as to all the good people of southern and mid-coast Maine.
You’ve been very welcoming to us, and I like your style, so I’m going to work hard to give you great products at great prices!
Give me a call, you’ll love what I can do for you.
